I haven't seen this snap bean since the late 40's. If I remember correctly it had to be picked young to avoid the hulls becoming tough. Other than that it seemed to an ordinary early bush snap bean which was well liked by the older folks of that time. Seems to have died out among younger generations. I haven't seen seed available for a long time.
