In the UK this plant grows to 18"x18" and prefers part shade,it is a woodland plant by nature. It flowers from july to november and needs a well drained soil that is not too dry.I grew it under shrub roses to carry on the interest later in the season.A good variation is bobbins blue which is very pale blue still with the white centre.I also crossed it with the normal wallichianum which is all pink and got pink "buxtons blues"
