Received seeds in a trade. I planted along a 6' wooden fence. They are in a moist area that gets 1/2 day sun. The flowers are 6-8" with a center burgundy eye & very visible from 40' on my patio. They only open 1/2 a day closing about 2p. They have grown as tall as the fence. They start blooming in May here in zone 9 & finish about Aug. so I cut back & they form a bush with flowers until a frost gets them. Each flower makes a seed pod with about 10 seeds so they reseed easily. I collect a lot so have plenty to share with someone wanting them.

This plant has survived in Zone 3 for two winters, the last one was a real tough one for plants. It is a full round-shaped flower, a medium rosy pink.
