Recently purchased this hibiscus and love the gorgeous double blooms. Right now I have it potted, but my mom has one in the ground. Though it seems to like the sun and the inground bush isn't doing great. The potted bush has filled in nicely during the summer and has been blooming.

Update (12/4/2013):
Since I last posted, the in-ground bushes have finally bounced back and are doing fantastic. They even caught up in growth as mine that is potted. They have even surprised me and have been blooming even more than mine. Such a beautiful bloom.
