I have not grown this plant; however, I observed it in Maui. It was hybridizered by Cliff and Nell Landers (Florida) and registered 12/31/2002. Its parentage is unknown. The flowers are up to 20cm (8-9 inches) across. The body of the bloom is red with the edge being persimmon orange and the center maroon. The style and stigmas are red. The bloom is crested, overlapped and ruffled with a buttercup yellow reverse. The ovate dark green leaves are shiny and medium textured.
