This hedgehog will take a few degrees of frost as long as the base is protected. Beware of bright morning sun after that frost however. Dislikes long periods of soggy soil, or even excess humidity in Summer. In winter will not tolerate either. With a minimum of care, will reward with copious blooming for up to three weeks. Added bonus: few spines, so one of the less painful cacti to raise.
