From the "Encyclopedia of Hydrangeas," (Van Gelderen -2004), " a slow-growing shrubby plant, bred by the son of the famous Emile Mouillere, 1954. The flowerheads are small but numerous, usually dark pink or red. The sepals are heart shaped. The plant is suitable as a pot plant and in the garden."
