I have been growing this waterlily for around 12 years in a Lowes pond. It has consistently bloomed for me every year for the past 8 years. The pool is in partial shade and most of it freezes during the winter. The blooms are not rose or mauve, but a pale pink with a yellow center and about 6" across. Very hardy, floriferous and multiplies slowly but very well.
