Waterlily group Dahlias have open, shallow, double flowers and can range from miniature to giant.

Twilight Time is classed as a Small Waterlily type and has showy lavender and white flowers.

I've found little need for pinching out the side buds on this cultivar and it hasn't yet needed staking in the 3 years it has grown here even though it achieves 2-3ft in height. Deadheading does prolong the flowering as with all Dahlia hybrids and they love a deep rich soil to feed and grow on.

Lift the tubers once the frost has blackened the stems and store until Spring.
