A new introduction for 2002 in the UK (Avon Bulbs).

Has small (3/4 to 1 inch), deep maroon flowers with a bright yellow disc. It's not much ike a Dahlia to look at, the leaves are quite small and the stems sometimes have a slight red blush on them.

As with all Dahlias, it likes a deep, fertile soil in full sun.
