A most unusual lavender, having a distinctly lemon scent when the leaves ar crushed.
It forms a large shrub - up to a metre in favourable conditions.
The leaves and stems are rather 'sticky' to the touch.
I shall be giving this one a go and hope it can put up with the amount of 'wet' here in Gascony - though I have my doubts.

A small shrub from Spain and Portugal.

Has light green, linear or oblong, tough leaves which are scented when crushed. Bears heads of tiny, white flowers, the heads are topped with green bracts.

Flowers June-September

Loves a well-drained, fertile soil in full sun. It will not tolerate winter wet well (I found to my detriment) and will require some frost and wind protection in regtions where the winter is cold.
