Ipomoea hederacea has distinctive elongated sepals that curve outward and downward and these recurving sepals are a major botanical identity key to the species.
Please review the photos of the Ipomoea hederacea and see if your 'mini sky blue' flower matches the I.hederacea characteristics to determine where in the PlantFiles your photo is most accurately entered...

I used to have these growing on a slope in the front of my house. They were there when we had the house built, I have no idea how they got there because it was farm land.

They required no care in the ground and liked the soil hot, dry and rocky. The color was irridescent and shiny.
