This was hybridized by member Calalily and the seedpod was given to me. This was selected from the seedlings and the honor of choosing the name was given to the happy grower, me. :)

The cultivar is named after one of my cats (yes, the cat's name is actually "Orange Cat"). This brug was severely scratched up by the cat earlier in the season (yet it survived just fine and has attractive scratch marks all over the base). Also, the brug has rather long whiskers and yellow/orange blooms, so I think the name is appropriate.
