Largeflower Mexican Clover has become a weed in central and southern Florida and the Keys (zones 9a through 11). It has slightly larger, white/near white to pink-white flowers than R. brasiliensis and R. scabra, which are weeds throughout much of Florida.

Like the two latter, also-weedy species, Largeflower Mexican Clover can quickly spread from where it was planted. It can be difficult to get rid of. It also invades varied habitats, especially lawns, roadsides, gardens and disturbed areas. It can be an annoying, weedy pest on lawns - also like the two latter species.
