I love this plant. I can always look forward to its cheery red blooms around Thanksgiving time. It will usually bloom on and off until late winter. It needs little care other than to be in a cool room from fall on with 12 hours of dark and 12 hours of day. This works perfect in our sun room....which we usually do not use in the evening at that time of year.
