These were wonderful tiny petit pois, easy to grow and productive. The vines were short but still needed some branches for support. They produced lots of nice fat pods in about 55 days. The flavor of the peas was excellent. Of course baby peas are a bit of a pain because for a lot of shelling you get just a small volume of peas, but the flavor and tenderness is superior to the full-sized ones -- nice for a special treat!

An outstanding variety, this one produces many pods which are full of very small, very sweet peas that are best eaten raw or very lightly steamed. It stays short enough that support isn't essential, but harvesting is easier if some is provided. 60 days froms seed.

Peas do not thrive in hot weather, so plant them pre-sprouted outdoors in very early spring or in late summer for a fall harvest.
