I have only recently discovered the advantages of this plant! I use it a lot in public gardens as it really resists most ills, and seems to thrive on neglect, while still adding colour to the garden. Here in Morocco, we have a huge problem in maintaining public parks -- the resources just aren't allocated (but I guess there are so many other priorities).
