Not an easy fern..very sensitive to overwatering at the roots.Plants bought from greenhouse growers will rot in the growers own mix when grown in a cool climate. Better here in the bay area to plant in orchid bark, on logs or lava rock in shade(THAT looks great!) rather than soil. Many forms of this fern-from dwarf to frilly.
