Seeing many beautiful pictures of the Common Bugle - Ajuga reptans, I thought it appropriate to add its Australian cousin to the database. I think this has also great potential as garden plant, although I have not so far seen it in cultivation. I must try and collect some seed soon and have a try. It does not have the creeping habit of its cousin, but forms fairly dense clumps, often growing in fairly dry sites among grasses or in leaf litter under Eucalyptus forest.
