This is a fairly frost hardy Daphne that enjoys a mediterranean climate. It likes to have plenty of summer sun to ripen its wood. Given the right conditions, it bears plenty of very fragrant deep rose coloured flowers in mid spring.
It forms a very pleasing dense 'pudding bowl' shape as it grows
