This Australian member of the flax genus, is very similar to the blue-flowered forms of the Common Flax or Linseed. It is quite common in this area, though easily overlooked, as it often grows among grasses. I have no knowledge of it in cultivation, but intend to try it soon. I just have to find it among the grasses when in seed, without the beautiful blue flowers to help me see it!
