I purchased one 'Drummer Boy' years ago, and divided it into 3 at some point. After a few more years, all three needed division again. I ended up with 15 small clumps and 5 larger ones - I just got tired of fighting with the thick roots! The plants are beautiful - nice and full, and seem to be slug resistant. Unfortunately I did not take a photo of them last year. However, it won't be long before these fill in the bed again. They are planted near the foundation of my house, on the north side.
