(Improved Table Queen) Second only to Hubbard in flavor and keeping qualities. Very early with 6-8' vines. Acorn-shaped, ribbed fruits of dark-green, 6 x 5" in diameter and 1.5-2 pounds. Small seed cavity. Thick, deep-orange, fine-textured flesh that is tender, sweet and dry. Longtime favorite as an individual baker. Can withstand poor soil conditions.
