This attractive little climber, grows mostly on the trunks of the Soft Tree-ferns - Dicksomia antarctica, sometimes rooted in the ground, but sometimes purely as an epiphyte. It produces its long white tubular flowers in the winter and then develops white fleshy berry-like fruit. I tried unsuccessfully to transplant a young plant to my garden. I have not yet managed to collect any seed.
