A perennial Penstemon from South West USA.

Has lance shaped, mid green, smooth leaves on upright stems. Bears tubular, slightly pendant blue to pinkish violet flowers. The flower colour seems to be affected a little by soil pH.

Flowers between April and August

Needs a sharply drained, poorish soil in full sun to light shade. Dislikes winter wet.
