The only blue flowering member of the Crassulaceae.

A winter growing annual, flowering profusely in Spring and scattering seeds which germinate with the autumn rains to grow slowly through a mild winter. Prior to the 1940's Sedum caeruleum was often sold as a summer bedding plant in the way that portulaca hybrids are today.

Does best in a rocky well draining position where larger plants won't overshadow it.
