This is a small herb from medium altitudes of central Brazil. I found those vegetating in an altitude of 1000m. This plant has an underground stem that keeps it alive when the fire comes and burn the aerial parts, so it will always show up again. I dunno how much it can grow if left undisturbed.

It has leaves with 3 leaflets, covered with dense, short hairs. The flowers are bright yellow and atractive, more or less 2cm around.
