Another of those you either like, or don't. I can see its pollen parent, Jungle Shadows in the earlier bloom and I wonder if the yellowing-out is from the pod parent side of the equation? Almost makes me want to study genetics ;~)

Introduced from Plough's 'Eden Road Iris Garden' in 1967.
