I just went to our local quality nursery to buy a blue hosta. Nothing jumped out at me except Brother Stefan. What's not to like about this gorgeous plant? I did my online homework when I got home with it, and learned that it is slug resistant, and has a wide range of zones in which it does well as a bonus to what my eyes had already told me. This plant has excellent substance, beautifully shaped leaves and the coloring is definitely eye catching. I feel it will be an excellent addition to our shade garden.
