Cyathea spinulosa is native to Taiwan, southern China, Japan, Nepal, Bhutan, India, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar (Burma).

Cyathea are listed on CITES Appendix II.

A relatively graceful tree fern that is pretty rare in cultivation. It has some brittle spines on the bases of its petioles and along the entire trunk- not very cuddly! The fronds are very finely divided and lacy. It's a native of Japan, China, Taiwan and Thailand.
