Aglaonema commutatum 'Amelia'

I've had this houseplant for 4 years and it's been very undemanding. It will grow in low light, although its growth rate will increase in bright indirect light. It does not like direct sun. As it ages, its lower leaves will yellow and die, so just cut them off. Mine has flowered in the late spring - the blooms are small and green, and resemble the flowers of a peace lily (spathiphyllum). They are open only briefly and aren't that attractive, so some people cut them off.

I bought a rather large specimen a couple of weeks ago. I keep it out of direct light but the leaves are turning yellow. Does anyone have any suggestions??

I received mine as a gift with about 4 leaves on it. It's growing well in indirect light with no direct sun. I rotate every few weeks to keep it even. I water whenever I remember - not very frequently, because it came to me overpotted. It's now got over 2 dozen leaves on it, and I think I have a bloom starting to sprout on one of the shoots.

Easy plant to care for indoors. Interesting colors, and nice variegation
