This plant thrives outdoors in North San Diego County. The climate here is similar to its native home in the Canary Islands.

It is a superior Aeonium for outdoor dry climate. Nothing bothers it. Rabbits, gophers nor insect seem to phase it. It is not invasive, and it will flower with a profusion of thousands of tiny bright red flowers.
