This plant is very easy to grow in a a well drained growing medium made up of crushed brick clean sand a little loam soil with about 10 % well rotted leafmould added. My plants are growing in a sub-tropical to tropical climate where they get full sun for most of the day. Water well then let the plants dry out completely for a week or two before watering again. In the winter months allow the plants to show signs of wilting before watering them sparingly. Do not let them dry out too much.
