Weird but ornamental caudiciform deciduous vine from Madagascar. Huge above ground root up to 5' tall- and smooth, dark brown with concentric rings. Looks like a big brown rock. Not too hardy. Only seen them recently for sale in So Cal... $$$$... hope the buyers can keep from rotting them.
