There many variations of English pea bearing this name. This particular cultivar I obtained from the T. W. Woods Seed Company in Richmond VA. They went out of business the next year and were replaced by Producer's COOP which no longer carried this cultivar. With the exception of Green Arrow, it is one of the best English peas that I have tried. The short blunt pods are set in pairs. Good yield and flavor.
