A recent introduction (2002/2003) this Anemone flowered Dahlia has lavender outer petals and a cluster of yellow tubular florets in the middle.

We found it a rather unstable cultivar, there were at least 3 slightly different flowers on each plant (bought from 2 different companies), shading from russet to pinky lavender and not very floriferous. However, it is unusual enough to keep as a curiosity so we've allowed them to overwinter in the greenhouse.
