This is one of the hardiest Haworthias for the garden and one less likely to get lost in the landscape as most of my other Haworthias tend to do. It is a tough leaved plant with dark green, short, sharp, knobby leaves closly compacted in a pile as it slowly enongates along the ground. It suckers nicely to create a bunch of snake like objects. The leaves turn a bit pink in cold and sun. It is a very drought tolerant species, but likes water just the same.
