Japanese Pteris with a stripe down the middle of each leaf- looks like and is related to Pteris cretica. Supposed to be pretty hardy but can't find any info on what that means exactly. Have learned that it survives outdoors in Southern California, which at least shows hardiness to high heat (in shade, and kept moist). Got to 120F last year, with sun hitting it directly, and only sort of killed it.. back 100% this year, though.
