Bought this plant as a tiny seedling at Annie's Annuals three years ago and planted it in a huge oversized pot. It blooms nearly year round in this part of Oakland, California, near the Alameda estuary. But it does need more water than most everything else in my garden. It does drop leaves if it's underwatered. However it's come back nicely from my accidentaly neglect.
