Slow growing, fat, nearly spineless neat cactus from Mexico. Deeply grooved and bright green, with yellow flowers and golden needles (what few there are) make this a handsome plant. Not seen one outdoors in So Cal, but could probably do OK... supposed to a bit frost tender.
