In culture plant obtains fresh green leaves, insitus du to sun exposure plants are bronz-green upto red. Some botanists consider that the plant occures also on the Island of Tenerife, but in my opinion they take the Aeonium mascaense for the same plant. Effective they resemble very and are even very close to each other with the difference of a well marked midstripe in the leaves of the Aeon. mascaense who fails by the A. decorum.
