Tutcheria is a close genus to the well known Camellia. Native from China, this shrub ressembles its relatives, with serrated, shiny, dark green foliage. The flowers are big, slightly fragrant, white, open, with yellow stamens in the middle. It is said to require the same treatment of common Camellias, and as hardy as them.
