Small, bulbous plant from Greece and Turkey.

Has lance like, mid green, fleshy leaves. Bears pale yellow-green flowers with dark purple buds which are highly fragrant.

Flowers between March and May.

Loves a well drained soil in full sun and will increase well where happy. In areas where the summer is likely to be wet, the bulbs will need to be lifted as they prefer a dry dormancy. Take care when lifting as the bulbs are very large in comparison to the size of the plant and other Muscari species.
