Survived one Maine winter and bloomed this summer for the first time. Late Aug which suprised me and lasted until Sept frost. No great edging showing yet and I thought this was supposed to be early season with rebloom but it might be adjusting it's timing from Florida this year.

"Lavender Heartthrob" (Magic Amethyst x Debussy) has 22 scapes with 5-way branching. (3 + terminal y) and 28-30 buds. Flowers are early morning openers and measure 7 x 3 5/8 x 2. It is both pod and pollen fertile. (details taken from Floyd Cove Nursery website 2006)
