This is a small flowered Camellia, a tall shrub or small tree up to 6m tall. The leaves are small, deep green, shiny and leathery. The newer leaves that show up after the last flowers are red and shiny as well. The flowers are white, with touches of pink outside the petals, cup shaped, aromatic, with a column of white stamens in the middle. It starts blooming on winter, and goes through spring bearing lots of these flowers.
