Out of the 14 different camellias I own, I enjoy this the most. It's the smallest one I own and it's also been the most "bloom-iest". It only gets about 3-4 hours of afternoon sun. I lay off the water and feed it time release fertilizer with acidifiers... water soluble fertilizer every now and then. As for propogating, Starting new plants from cuttings is recommended. Grafting if you know what you're doing. Working with any seed would be more trouble than the cuttings. It's not impossible, just a very long process and will take very many attempts before you actually get a viable specimen. From what I was told, alot of times, those started from seed aren't ever worth anything.
