One of the better looking landscape specimens in this genus- a mod sized solitary trunk species (most Aiphanes sucker) with closely spaced, thin (relatively) long, praemorse leaflets and intensely spiny (performs as in indoor palm in humid climates, but why you want one indoors- ouch!?). Adults tolerate full sun in hazy climates, but seedlings need shade. From the Caribbean.
