bred by Barbier, 1900. 20 x10/ but will yearly put out canes that are easily 20 feet, once estabished. Long sinuous growth, easy to train on fence, pergola or arbour (large arbour) fine glossy foliage even when not flowering. Flowers open rich cream, fading paler, but maintaining deeper colour at the centre.

Grew this rose in a wind exposed garden in zone 7. Wonderful dense dark green foliage, one huge burst of apple scented flowers and intermittent roses from then until fall.

Nova Scotia, south shore region. Planted against fence in semi-shaded site in July 2004. Good growth and moderate flowering in the first year. Am hoping that rose will overwinter well.
