Large solitary palm with very neat habit- leaves arch attractively and leaves always seem to be in order. Looks a bit like a neat Arenga pinatta, only the trunk is neatly woven with fibre and no spines. This is one of the most beautiful Arengas. Too tropical for southern California unfortunately. Native to SE Asia.
