I've had no problems with this rose here in S. FL. It flowers quite often and profusely. It is a vigorous grower that requires some pruning mainly to keep it in shape. It is quite fragrant with a slight citrus note.
It was introduced in 1880. It is considered a probable sport of 'Duchesse de Brabant'.
